Innovation & Impact

Connecting humanity to the Universe.
BruhnBruhn Innovation drives transformative engineering across space, defence, and frontier technology. These are some of the milestones that define our work.

Part of the DIANA Network

In December 2025, BruhnBruhn Innovation was selected as one of 150 companies joining the NATO DIANA 2026 Challenge Programme Cohort, chosen from a record 3,680 applicants across all 32 NATO nations.

BBI was selected under the Resilient Space Operations challenge area, with dacreo apto as the qualifying technology. Dacreo apto is a Kubernetes-compatible spacestack that enables satellites to execute mission applications, process data in orbit, coordinate across distributed nodes, and operate autonomously during communication blackouts. It addresses exactly the challenge NATO identified: space systems that are as adaptive, secure, and software-defined as modern cloud infrastructure.

BBI will work with DIANA’s network of accelerators, test centres, and defence end-users to validate the technology against operational requirements and build pathways to Allied adoption.
